Alabama just suffered another loss on the defensive side of the ball just as the Crimson Tide were returning several defenders from earlier injuries.
According to Matt Zenitz of AL.com on Tuesday; freshman LB Dylan Moses suffered what appears to be a season-ending foot injury. Moses stepped up and played a significant role this season as the Tide dealt with multiple injuries to their LB corps. Moses recorded 30 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks, and an interception this season.
This injury comes a very inopportune time with the CFP semifinal less than two weeks away. Many Crimson Tide players were getting healthy after missing time this season. However, losing Moses would be a big blow for Alabama, while preparing to face Clemson on New Year’s Day.
The challenge of stopping Clemson QB, Kelly Bryant just got a little tougher without Moses on the field.
