Entering into the season as the favorite, Coach Bo Ryan handled the vote smoothly. As he was introduced to the media, one reporter stated, “The unanimous pick to win the B1G Ten Championship.”

Coach Ryan replied, “Well, after that (introduction), let’s just end the season right there!”

The Badgers are returning four of their five starters from last season which after going to the Final Four, this is the team to bet.

“Last year, I thought my guys played off each other as well as anyone.” – Coach Rryan

And as for the preseason vote, Coach Ryan says, “I don’t think my guys are thinking about that.”

The Buckeye have a lot to prove and a lack luster performance in the NCAA tournament last season. Head coach Thad Matta seemed very confident in his team this season saying, “We’re going to be a different team.”

Losing their ball handler in Craft, Coach Matta says, “The additions of Anthony (Lee) and David Bell, the competition of pratice is something we haven’t had in a while.”

“Guys know if they don’t come to play, they’ll get embarrassed in practice.” – Coach Matta

You gotta love some Tom Izzo. Coach Izzo state that “I kind of likes this team.”

After losing Adrian Payne and a few other players in the NBA draft, Coach Izzo says, “This team has the same passion.. Little better leadership.”

Coach Tom Crean seemed to be excited about this season with around 60% of his team new. Only two of the starting five returning.

“We’re excited about the new guys,” Coach Crean states, “I love the way their working, love their energy.”

Returing guard Yogi seemed to be on Coach Crean good side, he spoke highly of Yogi saying, “We had to have him do more last year, but he was capable.”

“Now we have to put players around him (Yogi) to get the floor spaced.”
