CFB Playoff National Championship: Entitlement vs. Endurance

CFBplayoff1

It is the last College Football game of the season and I have a choice to make: Alabama or Clemson?

En·ti·tle·ment
noun
the fact of having a right to something

the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment

Alabama Crimson Tide feels like they’re entitled to WIN this National Championship, but I believe the Clemson Tigers have more endurance than they think. If Alabama wins, this would be their fourth National Championship in seven years.

En·dur·ance
noun
the fact or power of enduring an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way

the capacity of something to last or to withstand wear and tear

We’ve seen how Clemson has played their way to an almost perfect College Football season and you have to wonder if they have enough inside of them to complete this season with their first National Championship in 34 years. Both teams are deserving to be on this big stage and it will be a fight to the end. Honestly my choice is Clemson University and I have been rooting for them all season long. It has been great to see their program do what they did this season and I would like to see them win it all. Clemson’s Head Coach Dabo Swinney needs his team to BYOG: BRING YOUR OWN GUTS” and help him defeat his alma mater, Alabama. Now I won’t count Alabama completely out, but after their performance last year in the Sugar Bowl against Ohio State I want Alabama to be okay with being Number 2 for once.

I’ll take endurance over entitlement any day of the week and that’s why I will chose Clemson tonight. We will see who WINS!
