I traveled all the way from Atlanta to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend the Michigan State vs. University of Georgia second round game of the NCAA Tournament. It took 3 hours to arrive to Time Warner Cable Arena in Downtown Charlotte. The Michigan State vs. UGA game started at 12:40pm EST but I had to grab a bite to eat before the tipoff. As the game started I munched on my Spud Max from McAlister’s.
As I took my seat, I noticed there were several Duke fans already at the Time Warner Cable Arena. Duke wasn’t scheduled to play until late that evening but fans were ready to watch which team they would face in the next round. I munched on my awesome food from McAlister’s as I conversed with fans in my section as the first half came to a close. The Georgia Bulldogs started the game hot but made some careless mistakes and the Michigan State Spartans took the lead into halftime and never looked back.
The Michigan State Spartans took a 12 point lead late in the game but the Bulldogs still put up a fight. However, the damage was done. Michigan State defeated my Georgia Bulldogs 70-63. MSU moves on the third round to face Virginia, March 22nd in Charlotte.
