Roger Goodell’s wife has a secret.
The NFL Commissioner’s wife has a secret Twitter account. According to the Wall Street Journal, Jane Goodell has spent the last three years on Twitter defending her husband from negative press. The account had no followers nor a profile picture and was under the name “Jones smith.” The handle @forargument has been deleted but Jane would hop in the mentions of various reporters from NBC, ESPN and WSJ. I wonder if Kevin Durant game her some pointers.

What’s funny is that Jane admitted to the WSJ that @forargument was her handle.
“It was a REALLY silly thing to do and done out of frustration—and love. As a former media member, I’m always bothered when the coverage doesn’t provide a complete and accurate picture of a story. I’m also a wife and a mom. I have always passionately defended the hard-working guy I love—and I always will. I just may not use Twitter to do so in the future!”
Jane, girl. You’re not supposed to get caught and if you just have to have a Twitter account to defend your man, do it with pride. Who is Jones smith? Why no profile picture? Your husband is in the news for a lot of things and this is just another bullet point to add to the list. Roger has bigger fish to fry than deal with another social media fiasco. Make another account Jane and talk that talk!
