There are a lot of events happening all over Atlanta and if you don’t want to venture down to the heart of the city, here’s some events that might pique your interest.

 

Giving Gracefully Awards

 

 

Tuesday, Jan. 29th: The Annual Giving Gracefully Awards is a philanthropic awards ceremony that honors committed, passionate athletes and entertainers devoted to making an impact in their communities. Only often recognized for their talent or craft, these athletes and entertainers are dedicated to heroic achievement through charitable giving. During the intimate, upscale affair, guests have the unique opportunity to spend valuable face-to-face time with philanthropic athletes and entertainers and learn more about their initiatives and upcoming events.

Bowling for Humphries

Wednesday, Jan. 30th: Join Georgia native and former NFL star, Takeo Spikes and The NFL Legends Community as they partner to host “Bowling for Humphries” charity event at Midtown Bowl during Super Bowl week in Atlanta, GA. Get up close and personal with Takeo and his celebrity friends as they raise money for a good cause during one of the nation’s biggest cultural events. “Bowling with Humphries” will be an interactive experience filled with bowling, food, drink, and live music by one of the nation’s top DJ’s. House of BET: An Immersive Experience

Friday Feb. 1st – Saturday Feb.2nd:  House of BET is a free 2-day immersive experience that includes exclusive screenings, cast conversations and meet + greets held at 595 Event Center.

SunTrust Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson Celebrity Superslam presented by LOS ANGELES FUEL

 

Friday, Feb. 1st: Join former NFL great Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson for his SUNTRUST Celebrity SuperSlam Charity basketball game presented by LOS ANGELES FUEL. The game will take place at the Forbes Arena on the Campus of Morehouse College. The game will feature Chad, current and former NFL players, Hollywood celebrities, reality stars, social media influencers and media personalities some of which includes Jarvis Landry of the Browns, Davante Adams of the Packers, Lamar Jackson of the Ravens, Pierre Garcon of the 49ers, former Atlanta Falcon Jamal Anderson, Love and Hip Hop star Julu Castenda, Ceaser and Teddy of VH1’s Black ink Crew, Kendrick Sampson of HBO’s Insecure and many more. Proceeds from the event benefits Usher’s New Look Foundation.

Celebrity Sweat: Celebrity Flag Football

 

 

Saturday, Feb. 2: Celebrity Sweat will be co-hosting the 19th annual Celebrity Flag Football Challenge with the Atlanta Braves at  SunTrust Park.

The 2019 game will feature an epic showdown between last year’s winning QB – Doug Flutie coaching Quavo’s team against fellow football alum Michael Vick with Hall of Famer Michael Irvin. The teams will comprise of pro- athletes such as Jarvis Landry, Devin Hester, Melvin Gordon, De’Vandre Campbell, Brian Poole, Darius Slay, Tryon Woodley, and Bryan Braman – with more stars to be announced shortly. Also joining us will be celebrities and musicians, including Hip Hop sensations Offset and Quavo from Migos.

Sports Illustrated Party Hosted By Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne 

Saturday, Feb. 2nd:  Guests will enjoy performances by world renowned DJ IRIE, and Dallas Austin plus a unique silent auction featuring exclusive sports and entertainment memorabilia and experiences including Steve Young’s 49ers helmet, a Prince signed electric guitar, a Peyton Manning Super Bowl game helmet, the 1999 Rams Lombardi trophy, and more! 16th Annual “Leather & Laces” Spectacular

Saturday, Feb. 2nd:  “Leather and Laces” will be hosted by Victoria’s Secret Angels Josephine Skriver and Lais Ribeiro, along with special guest DJ and Producer Dallas Austin and NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Kyle Busch will be there as well.
