The Ball Family Snags Docuseries With Facebook

LeVar Ball didn’t come to play, that’s his son’s job, he came to cement his way into basketball history by any means necessary. He’s quite unconventional and that has been proven with the Big Baller Brand (BBB) and Lonzo Ball not having a shoe deal with a major company but releasing his own shoes through BBB. The Ball family is once again pushing the unconventional boundaries with a docuseries that will be on Facebook. According to Deadline, a yet-to-be-named docuseries is a part of Facebook’s push for original video content. The number and length of episodes of both series is still to be determined.

The number and length of the episodes are critical. How interesting are Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball and will this lead to other reality TV opportunities? From what I’ve seen, LeVar has the it factor…he is made for TV. I’ve had my fair share of LeVar needs to simmer down rants, however, he’s doing things for his family and brand that just may become the new standard. Who says you have to go the traditional route? It’s apparent that that’s not how LeVar operates and for that he deserves much respect.

The news of a docuseries wasn’t the only thing hitting the internet. Big Baller Brand released their limited ZO2 Independence Day Collection. This collection is described as   a symbolic celebration of Independence, Family, and Freedom which is the bedrock of Big Baller Brand. The limited collection comes in  red, white with a  $495 price tag, $695 for sizes 14 and 15 and will ship on Nov. 24th. These shoes are still too high of a price point for me, however, I do like these better than original ZO2’s. It’s amazing what a different color can do.

I’m genuinely rooting for the Ball family. I want them all to win and their winning doesn’t have to look like a nationally recognized NBA star’s win. There’s enough money to be made and LeVar has found his formula. Will you be watching the Ball’s docuseries and/or copping the limited ZO2 Independence sneaks?
